The ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup requires the game WarCraft III including the add-on “The Frozen Throne” and the latest patch. The latest patch is automatically installed by connecting to Battle.net.

The ZOTAC WarCrat III Cup has its own regulations which can be found by navigating to Current Cup -> Rules.
Where can I find a list of all participants?
A list of the signed-up players is available under the menu item „players“. Players with the current status “not checked-in” are signed up for the cup. They need to check in one hour before the tournament starts to be able to participate in the cup. Players with the status “checked-in” are activated for the current cup and will participate. The check-in time begins one hour before the tournament starts.
Who can participate in the ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup?
Everybody can participate in the ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup, from beginners to casual gamers and from amateurs to professionals. Each of the players is invited to take part. Some of the best WarCraft III players are participating in the ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup every week.
Which Battle.net server is used for the cup?
The games of the ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup are usually played at GArena. The Battle.net, which is provided by Blizzard, is only used for exceptions, if both players agree on it.
Where can I download the tournament maps, which are used during the cup, for free?
A download link of the latest versions of the tournament maps is always available under the menu item “rules”.
What is the GArena Client?
The GArena Client affords players to play against each other from all over the world. Normally, a fair and fluent game would be impossible because of delays and lags due to long distances between the players. The GArena Client nearly solves all those problems and so players from Europe, Asia and America can compete against each other.
Where can I download the GG Client for free?
You can download the GG Client for free at www.Garena.com. You can find a detailed description of “how to use the tool” on the website, as well. If you still have any questions, you will receive quick and competent help on the page.
When can I sign in and what do I need to consider for participating?
Important is, that you complete your account before you sign in for the cup. Here you have to insert your game accounts; this is necessary to be identifiable for the players and referees during a cup. The registration for the next cup starts each time after the end of the current cup. You have one week to sign in. Please, do not forget the Check-in which starts one hour before the cup.
Why is a check-in needed one hour before the cup starts?
The check-in ensures that every player who is registered is available for the cup. Players who registered but didn’t checked-in are not able to participate in the cup. Therefore the check-in is important to the cup. The slots are assigned, as you can say „first come, first serve“ during the check-in phase.
How do I know who is my next opponent?
The tournament tree (grid) is published at the tournament’s start. The grid shows all match-ups of the tournament and your next opponent as well. Via clicking the name of a player you can see his account information to find him in the GArena chat.
How can I communicate with the players of the tournament?
Each player should be present in the following channels of the GArena Client before their matches: „GameSports Cup Room 01“& „GameSports Cup Room 02“.The GArena client can be downloaded for free at www.Garena.com.
How can I contact the referees of the tournament?
The referees of the ZOTAC WarCraft III Cup, as well as the players are present in the GArena channels „GameSports Cup Room 01“ & „GameSports Cup Room 02“. The GArena can be downloaded for free at www.Garena.com
My opponent is not available, what should I do?
Please contact one of our referees. He will help you to find your opponent or give you a def in, if your opponent is not present.
How do I announce the score after a match?
Basically, the loser announces the score. Therefore the score has to be insert under the menu item “control”. The system calculates the tournament tree and the further opponents of the winner automatically. In exceptional cases the referee can insert the score, if the loser does not fulfill his duty.
What can I win at this tournament?
The winner of this weekly cup gets 100€ prize money.
I’ve won! What do I need to do to get the prize money?
Once, you’ve won a referee will contact you and arrange the prize money transfer. Please consider, the payment of the prize money is handled via PayPal. Exceptions via bank transfer are only possible for European bank accounts. The easiest and fastest way, though, is to create a PayPal account for free.

Will my game be broadcasted?
The tournament officials of the ZOTAC WarCraft III Cups reserve themselves the right to broadcast specific games in cooperation with coverage partners from all over the world. If your game is chosen, one of our referees will inform you and announce the broadcast. By participating in the tournament each participant agrees on a possible broadcast of their games.
What is GameSports?
The tournament is officially arranged by GameSports on behalf of ZOTAC. GameSports broadcasts specific games of the cup via audio and video streams every week. For more information visit www.GameSports.de.
